Portugal prepara-se para receber a próxima cimeira da NATO
Aproximam-se as datas da próxima cimeira da NATO, que reunirá, de 19 a 21 de Novembro em Lisboa, Barack Obama e os líderes dos restantes países da organização. O objectivo é definir o novo “conceito estratégico” dessa que é a maior organização de guerra do Mundo. Com o aproximar da cimeira, multiplicam-se também as movimentações.
A polícia já começou, através dos jornais que habitualmente lhe servem de porta-voz, a fabricar o sentimento de medo entre a população. Foi anunciado um período de controlo social sem precedentes, com leis e penas especiais para quem ousar contestar a cimeira dos senhores da guerra. Foram feitos gastos brutais em meios de repressão, nomeadamente tanques blindados iguais aos que as tropas americanas e britânicas utilizam no Iraque. Tudo para que, em Novembro, Lisboa se assemelhe a um território de guerra.
Portugal gets ready to host NATO summit
We are fast approaching the next NATO summit, which will gather in Lisbon, from the 19th to the 21st of November, Barack Obama and the leaders of the other member-countries. Their goal is to adopt the new “strategic concept” of the organization. And we can already notice the growing bustle.
The police, through the commercial media, started to arouse the sense of fear among the population. According to the news, Portuguese security will be under the threat of both Al Qaeda and “anarchists and radical activists”. A period of unseen social control has therefore been announced, with special laws and punishments for those who dare to defy the warlords’ summit. Huge expenses on repression tools have been made (the Portuguese police recently bought the same tanks that are used in by the American troops in Iraq).
Portugal bereitet sich auf den NATO-Gipfel vor
Bald ist es soweit: vom 19 bis zum 21 November finden sich Barack Obama und die Repräsentanten der anderen Mitgliedsstaaten in Lissabon zum NATO-Gipfel ein. Ziel ist die Verabschiedung des neuen Konzepts der Organisation. Geschäftigtes Treiben ist mehr und mehr spürbar.
Mit Hilfe von Massenmedien begann die Polizei jüngst, in der Bevölkerung allgemeine Angst zu erregen. Wenn es nach den Nachrichten geht, ist die Sicherheit Portugals sowohl von der Terrororganisation”Al Qaeda” als auch von “Anarchisten und radikalen Aktivisten” bedroht.
Daraufhin wurde eine Zeit der ausgeweiteten Kontrolle angekündigt, wie sie nie zuvor gesehen wurde: Spezielle Gesetze und auch Strafen für jene, die es wagen, die Ruhe der Kriegsherren zu stören. Außerdem investierte man horrende Geldsummen in jegliche unterdrückende Mittel: Die portugiesische Polizei erwarb eben jene Panzer, wie sie auch von US-Amerikanischen Truppen im Irak zum Einsatz kommen.
