The German and mute version of Dracula’s movie and live music today

Cie Jucam and Dudelange’s Centre Culturel Regionel, Opderschmelz, will present today, at 8pm, a movie-concert.

F.W. Murnau’s mute movie, “Nosferatu eine Symphonie des Grauens” (in English “Nosferatu a Symphony of Horror”), is described as the most memorable movie of the German cinema, mainly because of its strong images. It is basically a non official version of the Dracula, once the director did not obtain authorization to adapt Bram Stoker’s novel.

For today’s presentation, the music will be reinterpreted by Fränz Hausemer (piano and guitars), Tom Wiot (countrabass) and Mustafa Zrika (African percussion).
